Glass film cleaning and maintenance - How to apply glass film? How to apply

glass film?

1. Cut:

Cut the specifications of the glass film into a specification that is about 1 cm larger than the veneer. This will avoid the trouble of repeated postings caused by sticking incorrectly (more on one side and less on the other).

2. Clean the glass:

Before applying cellophane, wipe the oil stains, stains and dust on the glass and spray enough water on the glass (it is best to add one or two drops of dishwashing liquid) to the extent to which it flows down. The purpose of spraying water is to temporarily reduce the viscosity of the glass film, and will not affect the viscosity after cooling and drying.

3. Remove the release film on the back:

After removing the release film, spray enough water on the back of the glass film (with glue surface). This will move back and forth on the glass at will during the pasting process, which is convenient for the right position.

4. Paste:

First, apply the glass film evenly on the glass, apply it to the upper end of the glass and align it, and paste it from top to bottom. If there is no match for one time, you can re-expose the repeated pasting (the benefits of spraying water).

5. Exhaust bubbles:

Use a scraper or IP card to scrape out water and bubbles from the center to the surroundings. Use a needle or blade to pierce the moisture and bubbles and smooth them. Until there is no moisture or bubbles at all and the glass film is completely stuck to the glass.

6. Cut the remaining part:

Use a utility knife to cut off the extra part of the film. If the film can be hidden in the window frame glue, it is best.

Glass film cleaning and maintenance

1. Do not move the glass within 3 days after the window film is installed.

2. Do not scrub the film with water within 15 days after the window film is installed.

3. Do not hang suction cups or fix any items with adhesive on the filmed glass, and do not paste self-adhesive decorations on the window film.

4. Spray the window film surface slightly evenly with a cleaner without ammonia, and then gently wipe the glass with a clean, soft cotton or soft tissue. The cotton and tissues often need to be wrung out. The pure external alcohol contained on the cotton/paper towel will quickly dissolve huge stains and greasy fingerprints. If the stain is not washed, spray the cleaning solution again and wipe the window film horizontally from top to bottom with a soft rubber wipe until it is dried. Dry the edges of the glass film with a towel.

5. When using adhesive tape, instant sticker or decal paper on the window film, the glue or adhesive residue left when removing these materials can be gently scrubbed with acetone (nail polish remover) to gently scrub the contaminated area, and the adhesive remaining on the glass film can be quickly and completely removed. A small amount of acetone will not damage the polyvine film, but it can immediately dissolve and completely evaporate the adhesive and most spray paints.

6. Do not use hard wipe boards, brushes, or wipes containing sand to clean the glass film.
