In daily life, people will inevitably dirty their clothes and leave stains due to accidental debris. How to remove stains on clothing (fabric)?

 The following are several methods:

Mold spots: Use hot and thick soap solution to repeatedly brush the fabric, and remove the light stains after sun exposure; old mold stains can be coated with ammonia water and then potassium permanganate solution, and then treated with sodium sulfite solution and washed with water. During treatment, prevent the mold spots from spreading.

Rust stains: You can first soak them in hot water and wash them with acetic acid or oxalic acid solution; old rust stains can be washed with mixed water of oxalic acid citric acid (half of each of 10% oxalic acid and 10% citric acid).

Juice stains: New juice stains should be washed away with soapy water in time. If they cannot be washed off, they can be washed away by tartaric acid or hydrogen peroxide. You can also sprinkle salt on the stains immediately and then wash them with water for a while. Persimmon stains should be rubbed immediately with wine and concentrated salt water, and then washed with warm water.

Blood stains: The main ingredient in the blood stain is protein, which will solidify when it is heated, so the new blood stains on the fabric can be washed with cold water and soap; old blood stains can be washed with borax and ammonia aqueous solution (2 grams of borax, 10% ammonia water, 20 parts of water), and then washed with clean water.

Ink stains: First wash the fresh ink stains with warm water, then stick them with rice to apply them to the stains and rub them gently to remove them. They can also be soaked in cold water and washed with dates or rushes. If there are still stains on the white fabric after washing, they can be removed by 10% oxalic acid, citric acid or tartaric acid, and then rinsed with clean water.

Sweat stains: There are generally three methods:

  1. Soak the sweat stains on the clothes in thick salt water for about 3 hours, and then wash them with detergent.

 2. Wipe the sweat stains with 5% acetic acid and 5% ammonia water in turn, and then wash them with cold water.

 3. Scrub with ginger or winter melon juice, but the sweat stains are too old and are difficult to remove because they are stained with other dirt.
