Huang Renyi arrived in Beijing for an interview and attended the China Supply Chain Expo

According to Chinese media reports, Huang Renjun, executive director of the US chip giant NVIDIA (NVIDIA), has arrived in China. On the 14th, he took a photo with Lei Jun, chairman of Xiaomi Group, in Beijing, and has been widely distributed online. Another report mentioned that Huang Renshi will attend the third "China International Supply Chain Promotion Expo" (Chengdu Expo) held in Beijing from the 16th.
According to reports, Huang Rensha is the third time this year to China, with the first two trips in January and April. According to Reuters on the 13th, a senior NVIDIA executive said that day that Huang Rensha will hold a media briefing in Beijing on the 16th.
According to the report from Chinese media, people familiar with the matter recently revealed that Huang Rensha will attend the 3rd Link Expo held in Beijing from the 16th to the 20th. In addition to promoting NVIDIA's new products, it will also reiterate its "long-term commitment to the Chinese market."
Vice President of the China Trade Promotion Association Yu Jianlong said at the China News Conference on June 17 that the 3rd Link Expo has "many new faces" and has more than 230 Chinese and foreign manufacturers participating in the first exhibition, of which NVIDIA will debut at the Link Expo for the first time.
Huang Renfeng's itinerary for visiting China this time has attracted close attention from political and business people in the United States and China. Among them, two US federal participants from the Democratic Party and the Republic of China wrote a letter to Huang Renyi on the 11th, asking him to avoid meeting with companies that cooperate with Chinese military or information agencies during this trip, as well as physical representatives included in the export restrictions list by the United States.
Huang Rensheng said in an interview broadcast by the US Television News Network (CNN) on the 13th that "we don't have to worry" that the Chinese military uses the technology developed by the US because "they can't rely on it at all (US Technology)."
He mentioned that "it (US technology) may be restricted at any time; why does China itself have a lot of computing power. Of course, they do not need NVIDIA chips, nor do they need American technology stacking to develop their military power."
Huang Renshi also reiterated that his past criticism of these policies, and the proposition of export control measures would only be counterproductive to the ultimate goal of the US technology leadership position.
