The strong demand for AI-related products has driven the revenue of Taiwan's major IT factories to grow for 20 consecutive months in October. The monthly revenue has exceeded 1 trillion yuan (NT$, the same below) for 20 consecutive months, and continues to set new single-month historical highs.

Nikkei reported that Taiwan’s major IT factories, which supply a large number of products and semiconductors to customers such as Apple (Apple), Microsoft (Microsoft), and NVIDIA (Nvidia), have achieved record-breaking revenue, mainly due to strong demand for AI servers and semiconductors. In October 2025, the total revenue of Taiwan's 19 major IT factories included in the "Asia300" constituent stocks such as TSMC and Hon Hai was 1.9538 billion yuan, a sharp increase of 11.8% from the same month last year, marking the 20th consecutive year It has shown growth every month, with double-digit (more than 10%) growth for the second consecutive month. The monthly revenue has exceeded 1 trillion yuan for the 20th consecutive month, and has set a new single-month record for the second consecutive month since statistics began in 2013.

Reports pointed out that 13 of the 19 major IT factories showed an increase in revenue and 6 reported a decrease in revenue in October. Among them, benefiting from the strong demand for AI servers, Hon Hai's October revenue surged 11.3% to 895.7 billion yuan, setting a record high in a single month; Quanta increased 27.4%; Delta Electronics' revenue soared 47.8% to 57.3 billion yuan, setting a record high in a single month.

Due to strong demand for advanced chips from customers such as NVIDIA, TSMC, the leading wafer foundry, saw its revenue surge by 16.9% in October; Nanya benefited from rising prices of old-generation DRAM, and its revenue soared by 262.4%. In addition, the performance of companies with a small proportion of AI-related products has varied. UMC's revenue shrank by 0.4% in October, while MediaTek's revenue grew by 1.8%.

In addition to being responsible for most of the production of Apple iPhones, Taiwanese companies also control more than 60% of the global wafer foundry market share, and are responsible for nearly 90% of the production of servers, more than 80% of PCs, and 80% of game consoles. They supply a large number of products to large global companies such as the United States, China, and Japan. Therefore, their monthly revenue trends are expected to predict economic trends in the next three months from factory shipments to actual product shelves. Nikkei began to compile and investigate the revenue data of Taiwan's major IT factories in January 2013.
