Chelsea meritorious defender Chilville left the team permanently this summer. Blues captain James, who once won the Champions League championship together, bid farewell to Chilville on social media. Last season, the two of them were Chelsea’s last two Champions League champions.

James wrote: Brother, we have experienced too much together. We won many trophies together, and were absent due to injury... and experienced the peaks and troughs of our football career together.
