According to official news, Manchester United goalkeeper Elich Harrison joined the English League Two team Shrewsbury on loan, with the loan period until the end of the 2025/26 season.

Announcement is as follows

Harrison will usher in his second loan trip, after spending an impressive 6-month loan period for Chester in the National League North (Level 6) in the 2024/25 season.

After 18 appearances for Chester, Harrison returned to Manchester United in January this year to play for the club's U21 echelon and entered the first team match day list in February (not played).

Harrison joined Manchester United from Stevenic in 2022 and grew up well in the club's U18 echelon, showing his skills, courage and excellent save ability.

He performed particularly well in the 2023/24 season, helping the U18 team win three championships unprecedentedly, and won the Denzel Harlang Reserve Player of the Year Award.

As England's U19 international, Harrison will play under Shrewsbury coach Michael Appleton. Appleton is a Manchester United youth training graduate and won the same Player of the Year award at Manchester United in 1996. He played twice for the first team during his time at Manchester United, and then moved to Preston and West Brom for a permanent move.

I wish you good luck on New Grass Field, Harrison!
