In the 2025 winter window, Manchester City signed Malmouche from Frankfurt for a total price of 75 million euros. Recently, Frankfurt director Crosher won the TU Best Director Award for the 2024/25 season. Krosher talked about the deal with Malmouche

Krosher said that Malmouche's transfer was the most exciting and difficult transaction: "Because at that time we were moving towards the Champions League goal, and he was the top scorer on our team with a lot of assists.
