Cremonese officially announced that 38-year-old England center Vardy is exempted from signing.

According to previous news, the two sides signed the contract until 2026. If the team succeeds in relegation, the contract can be renewed for one year.

Valdi, 38, devoted most of his career to Leicester City, making 500 appearances for Leicester, contributing 200 goals and 71 assists; and helped the team win the Premier League championship in the 15-16 season. This summer, Vardy's contract with Leicester City expired and became a free agent.
