Post: Tottenham originally considered Richarlison + cash exchange to Eze, freeing up a spot to sign Visa
The Daily Mail reported that Tottenham was originally considering adding Richarlison to the deal to introduce Eze.
It is reported that Tottenham had previously discussed the exchange plan for Richarlisson to exchange Eze for cash, and Eze's valuation is about 60 million pounds. If this happens, Tottenham coach Frank hopes to reunite with Visa, the latter of whom he signed for Brentford in 2021.
However, sources insisted that Visa was determined to transfer to Newcastle, and Newcastle made an improved offer on Wednesday - a fixed fee of £35 million plus a floating clause of £5 million, but the offer was officially rejected by Brentford.
And Brentford delayed the deal because they wanted to sell Visa to Tottenham considering their relationship with Frank, a practice that has annoyed 28-year-old Visa and his team, who have been waiting for a deal with Newcastle for more than three weeks.
Tottenham need to free up offensive positions to bring in Visa, so they are willing to include it in Eze's trade despite Charlison's two goals in Saturday's 3-0 win over Burnley.
