Official: Japan team recruits Crystal Palace midfielder Kamada Oji and Nijmegen midfielder Koto Sano
The Japanese Football Association today announced through its official website that the national team will recruit Crystal Palace midfielder Kamada Oji and Nijmegen midfielder Koto Sano.
At a press conference to announce the Japanese team's roster, Moribachi said in an interview that in order to deal with the injury situation, he would call at least one player on the 25-man list that had been recruited. Mori Boichi and his coaching staff have taken the plane to the United States in advance to prepare for the warm-up match in September.
Both were previously selected for the list of Japanese teams in June. Kamada Oji was injured before, but he returned in time in the European Union play-offs held in mid-week; Kokuya Sano was selected for the Japanese team again with his brother, Hiba Sano, since June.
