On Thursday local time, Bournemouth officially announced that it would renew its contract with team winger David Brooks until 2029.

Bornemouth official said that David Brooks has signed a new contract with the club, with the new contract term until 2029. Brooks joined Bournemouth from Sheffield United in the summer of 2018, making 151 appearances for the club in various events and scoring 22 goals.

Regarding the renewal of the contract with the 28-year-old, Bournemouth Football Operations Director Pinto said: "I am really happy that David has promised his future to the club and that he hopes to play here."

"He is a player we value very much. This renewal, along with the renewal of Tavenier and James Hill, shows how trust the players trust our program and are willing to be a part of it. I look forward to David continuing to move forward with us and further contributing to the team."

Brooks also said: "I'm very happy to sign a new contract. There have certainly been some ups and downs over the past seven years, but it has nothing to do with the club, but I've really enjoyed the time here and looked forward to the years to come."

"I think my highest bright moment so far must be that I made my Premier League debut. That's the dream of every little boy, and I've realized it here, so now I want to keep moving forward and create more memories."

So far this season, Brooks has played for Bournemouth in the first three Premier League games and contributed 1 goal.
