The FIFPRO Annual Eleven is voted for by professional players around the world and is the only global award in football that is entirely decided by players. The performance reference time for selection is from July 15, 2024 to August 13, 2025, during which they must participate in at least 30 official games.
The FIFPRO World 11 is the best 11 of the year for men's and women's football selected by the International Professional Players Association. The awards, originally known as FIFPRO World 11, started in 2005 and honor the best football players as voted for by their peers. In 2009, FIFPRO cooperated with FIFA and renamed it "FIFA FIFPRO World 11" (i.e. FIFA's annual best team), while retaining its original mode. From 2024, FIFPRO manages the award independently and returns to its original name: FIFPRO World 11.
The final 11-man lineup will be composed of 1 goalkeeper + 3 defenders + 3 midfielders + 3 forwards + the remaining non-goalkeeper player with the highest votes.
