According to ESPN, Arsenal negotiated a transfer of defender Inkapier, but the Gunners need to sell people to raise funds first.

ESPN's report pointed out that Arsenal has contacted Leverkusen to sign Inkapier before closing the window. The Gunners have signed Mosquera this summer to strengthen the defense, but sources said they are considering introducing another defender and are also negotiating on Kiviol's transfer to Porto.

However, because Kapier's deal is more complicated, because Arsenal needs to sell people to raise funds before signing, the future of players such as Fabio Vieira, Nelson, and Zinchenko are not clear.

ESPN reported last week that in Kapier had attracted the attention of several Premier League teams, and now there is news that if he leaves Leverkusen, Arsenal will most likely sign the Ecuadorian defender.

As the termination fee of Kapier is about 60 million euros, Arsenal will work hard to reduce this amount. The deal is not easy as the 23-year-old's contract expires in 2029 and Leverkusen hopes to keep him.
