Chelsea Club confirmed that women's football star Lauren James was injured during the 2025 European Cup with the England Women's Football Team and will be absent for a period of time.

The Blues forward helped the English women's football team win this tournament, starting four games and scoring two goals, including the final against Spain, but was unfortunately injured while England won the European championship.

James has now returned to Chelsea and will receive rehabilitation treatment at the club.
