According to British media GiveMeSport, Manchester United is in in-depth negotiations on the introduction of Antwerp goalkeeper Senna Lamons.

As interclub negotiations have made progress, Ramens has been excluded from the Antwerp match list against Mechelen on Sunday, and he is expected to be another signing for coach Amorin.

Manchester United has agreed with Lamens on personal terms, and the club has tracked him for 18 months and has started contact since June this year. Manchester United wants to pay a transfer fee of £17 million, while Antwerp insists on more than £20 million. The smaller valuation gap between the two sides is not expected to be an obstacle.

Manchester United's pursuit of Ramons will not affect Onana's near future, and the latter will remain as the club's No. 1 goalkeeper. Even if Ramons joins, Baindel is likely to stay in the team until at least January next year, partly because Onana will miss the Christmas schedule for representing Cameroon in the African Cup.

Lamens has played nine times for the Belgian U21 national team and was selected for the Belgian adult national team for the first time in March this year. He made more than 50 appearances for Antwerp, of which he contributed 44 appearances last season. Lamens is regarded as one of the most promising goalkeepers of his age.
