Those who have dogs at home should pay attention, the Civil Code is here! Starting from September 1st, it will be illegal to walk dogs without a leash.
Dogs are mankind’s most loyal friends. However, living in densely populated cities, collisions and confrontations between humans and dogs are inevitable. As dogs continue to hurt people, in line with the basic principle of putting people first, national and local governments have successively issued regulations and rules to regulate the breeding of dogs.
The promulgation of the Civil Code this time also formally provides clear legal provisions, which means that wanton dog walking and unscrupulous breeding will be subject to legal supervision. So how can we keep pets legally and compliantly?

How to raise a dog? The Civil Code explains it! Serious lawsuits will result.
The Civil Code stipulates that if a raised animal causes injury to another person, the animal breeder or manager shall bear tort liability; however, if it can be proven that the damage was caused intentionally or by gross negligence of the infringed party, the liability may be waived or reduced.
If the pet actively commits the crime, he or she will be held responsible for harming others. However, if someone actively provokes or harms the pet and causes harm to himself, the manager can be exempted from or reduce liability! I have to say that the Civil Code is relatively humane.

Important reminder!
Starting from May 1, the new "Animal Epidemic Prevention Law of the People's Republic of China" will be officially implemented!
Article 30 of this law clearly stipulates: Anyone who takes a dog out of the house must wear a dog tag and take measures such as tying the dog leash as required!
This means that walking a dog on a leash is no longer a simple moral constraint, but has become a clear legal regulation! Walking your dog without a leash will be an illegal act and will be punished by law!
If regulations are violated and the dogs raised are not regularly vaccinated against rabies in accordance with regulations, the agricultural and rural administrative departments of the local people's governments at or above the county level will order corrections within a time limit and may be fined up to one thousand yuan; if corrections are made within the time limit, a fine of not less than one thousand yuan but not more than five thousand yuan will be imposed, and the agricultural and rural administrative departments of the local people's governments at or above the county level will entrust animal diagnosis and treatment institutions, harmless treatment sites, etc. to deal with it on their behalf, and the necessary expenses shall be borne by the illegal perpetrators.
After the implementation of the Civil Code in 2021, the Civil Code that is closely related to our daily lives has arrived. Do you know these new highlights?
First, if a clearly prohibited dog injures someone, the dog owner is fully responsible regardless of whether the injured person is playing with the dog or not.
Second, the wife has the right to demand that her mistress return all property.
Third, a married daughter has equal rights to inherit property from her natal family;
Fourth, it is not illegal for a son-in-law to refuse to support his father-in-law and mother-in-law.
Of course, the above are only a small part of the provisions in the Civil Code. In addition to the above, the Civil Code has also added many new contents, covering all aspects of life. For example:
1: A naughty child at home uses his mobile phone to tip a female anchor 50,000 yuan. Parents can request a refund from the anchor on the platform. Because the child is a minor, he does not have full capacity for civil conduct.
2: While acting bravely, the person involved was accidentally injured. Those who act bravely for justice can be exempted from liability, which prevents heroes from shedding blood and tears.
3: When getting married, if one party conceals that he or she has a serious illness, the other party can apply for divorce because the concealing party did not truthfully disclose the illness.
4: The breeder abandons his pet dog and then finds it. If the dog bites someone while wandering, the breeder needs to bear the corresponding responsibility.
These contents are recorded in the Civil Code
As China's first law named after "code", the Civil Code is also known as the "Encyclopedia of Social Life". This is a code that is closely related to the lives of 1.4 billion people. It covers almost all the big and small things you have done since you were born, to study, to work, to buying a house and a car, to having children, to dividing your family assets, and to enjoying your old age. Friends who usually have no idea about this aspect may wish to read it. Learning and understanding the law will be helpful to our lives.
It is said that "one code is established and nine laws are abolished." The promulgation of the Civil Code means that nine laws including the Marriage Law, the Inheritance Law, the Adoption Law, and the Property Law are abolished at the same time. Some lawyers even joked, "All you have learned in half a lifetime will be destroyed in one day."
The new clauses are closely related to you and me, such as the following:
Be brave and exempt from responsibility, and prevent heroes from bleeding and crying; set a cooling-off period for divorce, and you can regret the divorce within 30 days; unilateral debt borrowing during marriage: you will repay the money you borrowed; community elevator advertising Proceeds from advertising and parking lots belong to all owners; if the courier fails to come to the door and the goods are lost, the seller shall bear the responsibility; the platform must return the money that "naughty kids" willfully reward the anchor; property managers are not allowed to use infringing methods such as power outages, water cuts, heat cuts, and gas cuts to collect property fees.
The content of the new version of the "Civil Code" covers all aspects of our lives, including almost all possible situations we face from birth, schooling, love, marriage, buying a house, buying a car, having children, later life, family property, etc. It is called the "Encyclopedia of Social Life" and is a must-have for new families
